INTEGRITY AND ACCESS.  In the Cuba Policy Foundation's campaign to educate Americans about the embargo of Cuba, one of our greatest successes has been in delivering our message to Capitol Hill lawmakers in Washington, DC.

CPF's educational outreach has enabled us to establish unprecedented integrity and access with leading Republican and Democratic members of the House and Senate, including the influential House Cuba Working Group, a growing, forty-six member bipartisan coalition of Members of Congress committed to easing the Cuban embargo.

HOUSE CUBA WORKING GROUP:  In May of 2002, the forty-six member, bipartisan House Cuba Working Group (CWG) unveiled a "Review of U.S. Policy Toward Cuba," which included a nine-point legislative program to ease the Cuban embargo and take positive steps in advancing U.S. interests regarding Cuba. In November 2002, the Cuba Policy Foundation led Congressional aides of the CWG on a five day trip to Cuba.  Read about it here.
